A remake of the One Piece anime, entitled The One Piece, produced by WIT Studio, is currently being developed. An anime whose aim is to re-adapt East Blue Saga material is being produced again.
Not only that, but the anime was also made to see the initial events that detikers might have missed from Toei Animation’s original release more than 2 decades ago.
Even though Nakama only found out that this remake was announced at the end of the year, it looks like there will be new information on One Piece Day 2024. Unfortunately, we have to be patient first.
It has been announced that One Piece Day 2024 will be held on August 11-12 in Japan. This is where Toei Animation will announce various news about One Piece, including the remake version which is currently in production.
It hasn’t been revealed exactly what they might share about the new series, but the initial announcement was just a production sketch.
If production is complete, it is very likely that the remake version of The One Piece will be streamed via Netflix. Netflix teased their new take on the classic franchise.
