Footage of a heated altercation between Cristiano Ronaldo and Juan Cuadrado has begun turning heads online on Thursday evening.
Juve’s woes
5-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo, of course, secured a departure from Serie A giants Juventus this past summer.
Prior to his exit, and subsequent return to Manchester United, however, CR7 was part of an altogether frustrating campaign at the Allianz Stadium.
So long the undisputed kings of Italian football, Juve’s dominance has begun to wane over recent years, with a new project under the watch of midfield icon Andrea Pirlo last time out having proven a challenging one to navigate.
When all was said and done, the Bianconeri did manage to secure a Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italian double, as well as a top-4 berth at the last.
On the continent, though, the Turin heavyweights came up short in alarming fashion once again, sent packing from the Champions League at the hands of Porto in the Last-16.

‘We played s**t!’
And it was the interval of the 2nd-leg of his struggling side’s meeting with Porto which saw the aforementioned Ronaldo completely lose his cool with Andrea Pirlo’s squad.
As showcased in footage secured in Amazon’s ‘All or Nothing’ documentary, which provides an inside look at ongoings at some of Europe’s top clubs, the 36-year-old embarked on a rant at his teammates upon returning to the dressing room whilst trailing 1-0 at half-time.
Juan Cuadrado, for one, was quick to urge Ronaldo to keep his cool, though, pleading with the Portuguese to ‘be an example’.
The exchange between the pair, which at one point became altogether heated, developed as follows (translation credit to Marca):
Ronaldo: “We have to work harder. What the f***! We didn’t play at all! Nothing!”
Cuadrado: “Don’t worry”
Ronaldo: “We played s***, always!”
Cuadrado: “You must be an example for everyone”
Ronaldo: “I’m included too. We have to tell each other the truth, we played s***. This is a Champions League match, we need to have personality.”
