Inter Miami coach Anthony Pulis departs for USL job

Inter Miami have announced the departure of assistant coach Anthony Pulis, who is taking the vacant managerial role at USL Championship side Miami FC.

The Herons will now begin their search for Phil Neville’s new assistant, with the expectation of putting them in place prior to the start of the 2022 MLS season.

“The Club would like to congratulate Anthony for earning this opportunity to lead Miami FC,” chief soccer officer and sporting director Chris Henderson said in an official press release.

“He is a fantastic coach and person and we couldn’t be happier for him. He has been a key complement of Inter Miami’s coaching staff for its first two MLS campaigns that has helped us implement the right culture and mindset in the Club. We wish Anthony all the best as he pursues this new opportunity.

“We’ve immediately begun the search for a new assistant coach that helps the Club reach its objectives.”
