Owen Hargreaves backs one man for Manchester United boss

Manchester United are currently hunting for a new manager, after parting ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Sunday morning, following a 4-1 defeat to Watford.

“And he’s only managing the national team, so I think he could come in and do the job now.

“I think he would transform United from a good team into a great team.”

Asked whether he would want to go to a club as big as Manchester United, he was quick to point out his current role too, saying:

“I’m already in the biggest team in Spain with 5,000 players.”

With Enrique reiterating that he is happy to be where he is now, and with a World Cup in exactly 12 months, it would be an odd time to jump ship.

Hargreaves, then, may be left high and dry,
