An insight into the feelings of Paul Pogba when it comes to the latest managerial appointment at Manchester United has been provided on Monday.
Rangnick the Red
The news which those of a Red Devils persuasion around the globe had been patiently awaiting for a little over a week now was of course finally forthcoming earlier today.
This came in the form of the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as the club’s new head coach.
On the back of the long overdue dismissal of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer last weekend, those in a position of power at Old Trafford were left with the monumental task of appointing the kind of footballing mind capable of correcting a near decade’s worth of underwhelming performance both on and off the pitch.
And, in the end, the United brass evidently came to the decision that German mastermind Rangnick represented the right profile to do exactly that.
In turn, the 63-year-old, on Monday morning, was unveiled as the interim Red Devils boss for the remainder of the season, ahead of taking on a consultancy role through 2024:

Pogba ‘enthused’
And, as alluded to above, alongside news of Rangnick’s appointment in Manchester has come a further insight into the feelings of a key member of the German’s soon-to-be squad regarding the club’s latest high-profile decision.
The player in question? Paul Pogba.
French international Pogba has of course endured a tumultuous campaign to date, tapering off on the back of a scintillating start, before being forced onto the sidelines with a long-term injury earlier this month.
Not only that, but speculation continues to swirl when it comes to the midfielder’s long-term future, with Pogba’s current terms at the Theatre of Dreams due to come to an end next summer.

In turn, it will no doubt come as music to the ears of the Man United faithful to hear that their enigmatic midfield talent has responded in a positive manner to Rangnick’s arrival.
As per a report from the reliable David Ornstein of The Athletic, Pogba ‘is said to be enthused by the idea of working under Rangnick’.
This comes with the former Juventus man having received ‘positive feedback’ regarding the German from those in the know when it comes to Rangnick’s abilities.
